Two properties · Chandigarh & Bir, Himachal Pradesh
Zeppelin Stays runs two properties with complementary characters — the Suite in Chandigarh for the nights before or after travel, and the Villa in Bir for the days in between.
A boutique serviced 3BHK apartment a few minutes from Chandigarh airport. Modern, well-equipped, and built around the reality of flight times rather than check-in hours.
View Suite →An eight-room wellness and adventure villa in the Dhauladhar foothills. Lower level living & pool area (1,800 sq ft), four rooms per floor across ground and first floors. Yoga, cold plunge, bonfire terrace, and the paragliding launch at Billing 14 km away.

Chandigarh is the practical gateway for most guests heading to Bir — and the suite exists for exactly that gap. A single 3BHK serviced apartment on Airport Road, ten minutes from the terminal, with modern interiors that make for a genuinely comfortable stop before the hills or on the way home.
Three bedrooms, a full living room, and a kitchenette — set up for a solo traveler, a couple, or a family without the compressed feeling of a hotel room.
No wellness program here — just the things that make an overnight transit stay genuinely comfortable.
A shared living room and kitchenette, with three private bedrooms — works for a solo traveler booking the whole apartment, or a group splitting the space.
The primary bedroom — good for a couple or the last one to arrive from a late flight.
A comfortable second bedroom, suited to a solo traveler or two traveling together.
The third bedroom — ideal for an early riser with a morning flight, or a child's room for a family stay.
Most guests aren't here for the city itself — but Chandigarh is an easy half-day if a flight gives you time to spare.
Chandigarh's planned centre and the Sukhna Lake promenade are an easy drive — a good way to stretch after a flight before heading to the hills.
A last proper meal before the mountains, or a first one back — Chandigarh's food scene is significantly more varied than anything near Bir.
The road to Bir runs through Mandi and Palampur — most guests leave the suite early to cover the 230 km in daylight.
Chandigarh Airport connects to Delhi and other major cities, making this a practical first or last stop for international guests.
Bir sits where the hills flatten into tea gardens and the Tibetan colony's prayer flags catch the same wind that carries paragliders down from Billing. The villa is built into that in-between — three floors, close to 10,000 square feet, laid out so a guest can move from a quiet room to an open terrace without passing through anything that feels like a hotel lobby.
The lower level houses the living and pool area — a generous 1,800 sq ft of shared space opening directly onto the grounds. The ground floor and first floor carry four rooms each, with every room oriented toward a specific view.
The wellness program is small on purpose — built around what this altitude and this light already do well.
Each room is named for what it looks at, not for a number on a hotel door. Four rooms on the ground floor, four on the first.
Faces the paragliding launch site — for early risers who want to watch the first gliders lift off before breakfast.
Looks over the monastery rooftops and prayer flags of the Tibetan colony below.
Set above the tea gardens — green in every season except the one month they're pruned.
Forest-facing and the quietest room on this floor, named for the cedar surrounding it.
Named for the nearby river — fall asleep to running water, not traffic.
Widest view on this floor — looking straight down the Dhauladhar range.
Faces the terraced orchards to the east — the first to catch morning light as it breaks over the far ridge.
Named for the whitewashed stupa visible from the window — close enough to see the prayer wheels, far enough to sleep undisturbed.
Bir-Billing is one of India's best-known paragliding sites — Billing is where pilots launch, Bir is where they land. The villa is a short drive from both ends of that run.
Tandem and solo flights from Billing, 14 km up the road, landing in the field a few minutes from the villa. Both arranged through our booking partner Bir Parabooking.
The Tibetan colony's monasteries, including Chokling, are an easy walk from the villa — most mornings end with a quiet loop before breakfast.
The tea estates around Bir make for flat, easy walking — a good counterweight to a day spent flying or trekking up into the ridge.
Palampur is roughly an hour away; Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj are a longer half-day trip, doable as a comfortable out-and-back.
Both properties open their first season in 2026. Book directly on Airbnb, or reach us by email.
